First of all, most of our family will all be at the Chautauqua Arts Festival in Madison, Indiana, on this coming Saturday, Sept. 29, doing a book signing at the Village Lights Bookstore. Scott and I will be set up inside the bookstore from 2pm until 5pm. Twenty of our twenty-three kids (plus one granddaughter) will mostly be roaming through this lovely little town throughout the day, checking out the arts exhibits, but will also be popping into the bookstore from time to time.
We would love to meet anyone who is interested in our family, ministry, and/or story.
Copies of our book will be for sale at the counter for $20 each, and we'll be happy to sign any purchased books.
Also, you will be able to pick up info about our upcoming new book, Through the Branches: Tales From the Life of an Unusual Family. That's the next exciting thing to share.
This is not the promised follow-up for Swaying in the Treetops, but, rather, a companion to that first book. This one is a much shorter, lighter-weight book comprised of a collection of vignettes that provide a peek, both humorous and inspirational, into daily life in our home. It is currently being printed now, and should be available for purchase in about six more weeks. This is what our editor had to say about the manuscript:

Hello Bro. Scott and Kathy. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know about you being the founder and Directors of Shepherds Crook Orphan Ministry and being parents of 22 kids. We had an Orphanage some years back but had to close it because of Government becoming very strict having such Orphanages. We do have an out reach ministry in the slums of Mumbai to the poorest of poor. We came across many orphans from single parents to no parents and it would out of this need we started to adopt such children from the slums. It is still very much upon my heart to give such orphans for foster care to the christian families who are willing to take such kids and treat them as they would treat their own kids. I am waiting up on the Lord for an appropriate time when the Lord bless us with resources. Would love to get connected with you and know more about your Organisation and see whether you have your work in India. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. God's richest blessings on you, your family and the ministry to the Orphans.
